Today was our first Pep Ralley for the start of football season. It seems really early, but I am ready! Hannah is a Varsity Cheerleader and is a member of the Flag Corp for the Marching Band. Leah is a clarinet player (the best!) in the Award Winning Clifton High School Band. I will post more pics this weekend after the game tonight. Go Mean Green!!!

Another bites the dust
...and another falls, another one falls, another one bites the dust" This song descibes our beautiful pecan tress! We were blessed with so much rain early summer and now the pecans, which have mildew, are so heavy that they are snapping the limbs way up in the top of the trees. We have already lost 6 branches when these fell. If you look up into the tree you can see that we have others that are broken and ready to bite the dust!! So sad.

I'm Home Alone

Can you beleive it? I'm home alone today...Sarah is living in Waco going to Trueitt Seminary. Rebekah and her husband Ryne have move to Longview and will start classes Tommorrow at LeTourneau University. Hannah and Leah begain their junior and sophmore year at CHS. And Keith?...well, he started a new job today at the school!! Isn't God good!!! I'm talking about the job here, not that Preacher isn't home today (hehe). I'm so excited to get back into a routine after a very busy summer. Through all those events this summer, God has shown our family unconditional love and grace that is truly undescribable. I'm going to clean my house, wash clothes and cook supper...but not until I get a nap.
